Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee we cordially invite you to attend the 30th Meeting of the Scandinavian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, SSAI, to be held June 10-13, 2009, in Odense, Denmark.

The coming Nordic meeting will be co-hosted by the SSAI and the Danish Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine (DASAIM), in collaboration with the Odense University Hospital (OUH) and hospitals in the Region of Southern Denmark. The meeting venue will be the Radisson SAS Hotel H.C. Andersen in the heart of the city. Our aim is to provide an environment in which all can experience the ‘the bridge to further education’ in our field related both to clinical and research advances, presented in a wide range of formats including panel discussions, keynote lectures, workshops, and poster and oral abstract presentations.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for colleagues from all parts of Scandinavia, as well as other parts of the world, to meet old friends, make new contacts, discuss science, develop new ideas, and at the same time enjoy the special ambience of the island of Funen, and the warm hospitality of your hosts.
